you know you're old when...

Yesterday I was sitting in an office waiting room and I was two seats down from a girl who was about 13 or 14. Didn't say a word to the girl or address her in any way. When the girl got up, a lady a few seats over asked if she was my daughter. "Excuse me?", I said, and then it sank in and I said, "Umm.... No.....", a little confused. I left thinking, "Really, I know I am getting older, but THAT old?" I was a little offended. I think to a lesser degree it falls under the category of asking someone if they are pregnant when they are not.
