It is spring! And in the spring wild daffodils sprout up everywhere. These are some Bob and I found on a hike. I am currently reading the (wonderful) book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver and I learned that a species of daffodil are called Jonquil. The city right next to us is called Smyrna, and nicknamed "the jonquil city" and now I know why--there are beautiful daffodils everywhere!
